The Mitre Finisher – Door Frame Mitre Trim Guide

The Mitre Finisher is designed for wrapped door frame architraves where a fast, neat and repeatable mitre overlap is needed. It was developed during a large project where speed and consistency across multiple frames were essential.

The tool simply hooks onto the edge of the door frame. Its 90 degree shape positions the guide correctly and provides a 45 degree cut slot for trimming.

This helps create a more controlled and repeatable cut without relying on eye judgment alone.

The Mitre Finisher includes two cut slots:

• one slot for the initial cut
• a second slot set 2mm away to create the overlap

This makes it quick and easy to repeat the same finish across multiple wrapped frames with a consistent result.
