What The Finisher is used for
What The Finisher is used for
The Finisher is designed for panel wrapping, shaker doors and similar detailed trimming work.
It gives installers a compact, practical guide for making cleaner and more repeatable cuts during finishing.
Blade slot sizes
Blade slot sizes
The Finisher features blade slots in 5mm increments up to 35mm, covering the trim sizes commonly used on the job.
A 40mm cut can also be achieved using the end of the tool where there is no slot.
Shaker door guides
Shaker door guides
The Finisher also includes three guide options for shaker doors and similar grooves.
These create a more stable trimming reference and are also useful on other detailed profiles, including vision panels in fire doors.
Guide depth options
Guide depth options
The shaker door guides are available in 1mm, 1.5mm and 2.22mm depths.
- 1mm is typically preferred for high gloss finishes where overlaps are more visible
- 1.5mm is the best all-round option for most general work
- 2.22mm is better suited to textured woodgrains and films with higher shrinkage
These depths are not labelled on the tool itself due to the compact size of the guides.
Why it offers more control
Why it offers more control
Unlike tools where the blade is rested against the outside edge, The Finisher uses guided slots to help reduce the risk of slips during cutting.
This gives you more control and makes it easier to trim one-handed while keeping the other hand free to steady the panel.
Works even better with SuckaMount
Works even better with SuckaMount
The Finisher works well as a standalone tool, but when paired with the SuckaMount system it can help reduce the need to flip panels over just to trim underneath.
That means a more efficient and controlled workflow.
